CAMPUS MINISTRY
Campus Minister – Capital University
Capital University has over 50 international students on campus, making up about 1.6% of the student body. A Campus Minister will:
- Participate in IFI sponsored outreach and special events on campus and develop culture-specific outreaches.
- Evangelize international students by developing personal relationships, providing one-on-one Bible study encounters, and leading group Bible studies.
- Disciple international students through close personal involvement and structured and informal one-on-one times.
Campus Minister – Columbus State Community College
CSCC is a community college in the Columbus area which serves as a feeder to OSU. There are 26,000 students at the university. Students from over 130 countries attend CSCC. A Campus Minister will:
- Participate in IFI sponsored outreach and special events on campus and develop culture-specific outreaches.
- Evangelize international students by developing personal relationships, providing one-on-one Bible study encounters, and leading group Bible studies.
- Disciple international students through close personal involvement and structured and informal one-on-one times.
Campus Minister – Denison University
Denison University reports having a total of 285 international students on campus out of a total of 2,394 students. Denison suggests that international students make up about 12% of the student body. A Campus Minister will:
- Participate in IFI sponsored outreach and special events on campus and develop culture-specific outreaches.
- Evangelize international students by developing personal relationships, providing one-on-one Bible study encounters, and leading group Bible studies.
- Disciple international students through close personal involvement and structured and informal one-on-one times.
Campus Minister – Franklin University
Franklin University has 89 International students, making up 2% of the student body. A Campus Minister will:
- Participate in IFI sponsored outreach and special events on campus and develop culture-specific outreaches.
- Evangelize international students by developing personal relationships, providing one-on-one Bible study encounters, and leading group Bible studies.
- Disciple international students through close personal involvement and structured and informal one-on-one times.

A Campus Minister will:

CAMPUS MINISTRY – COORDINATION
Assistant Campus Ministry Director – The Ohio State University
The Assistant Campus Ministry Director is to support the Campus Ministry Director with oversight of a campus ministry team. This involves providing administrative guidance, communication of strategic and mission-based focus, and supervision of campus staff, so that the team can expand the ministry’s impact on reaching and discipling more international students.
Campus Liaison – The Ohio State University
The overall role of the Campus Liaison is to build and maintain a positive and effective relationship between the non-profit organization IFI and the Ohio State University. This involves communicating IFI services to the university and international students effectively and coordinating campus ministers to engage with the campus to reach international students strategically for hospitality and Global missions. The ideal candidate would live within walking distance of the OSU campus.
Campus Ministry Manager – The Ohio State University
The overall role of the Campus Ministry Manager (CMM) is to ensure campus staff stay focused on the mission/vision of IFI and carry out the responsibilities assigned to them. They will provide pastoral care and support, strategic and mission based focus, administrative guidance, and communication.
Discipleship Coordinator – The Ohio State University
The Discipleship Coordinator is to ensure the campus ministry is discipling international students. They will track and coordinate activities like Bible study groups, 1-1 discipleship, and the annual student retreat. A successful person in this role will foster thriving and cooperative relationships with team members in the Central Ohio IFI location.
CAMPUS MINISTRY – SUPPORT
Church and Volunteer Partnership Specialist
The overall role of the Church and Volunteer Partnership Specialist is to assist in strengthening existing and developing new partnerships with local churches and volunteers who will assist campus staff in Columbus to expand their ministry reach. This includes envisioning churches and connecting volunteers with international students by recruiting, screening, training, engaging, recognizing and retaining them.
Career Coach & Employment Coordinator
A Career Coach & Employment Coordinator will find employers to offer internships to international students enrolled in IFI ISEED program. They will also mentor and help international students to prepare and interview for jobs and assist the Internship Program Manager with overall coordination of the ISEED program.
Development Catalyst
The overall role of the Development Catalyst is to develop, communicate, and execute a fundraising strategy for the Central Ohio ministry location of International Friendships (IFI). This job includes meeting directly with donors and prospective donors, as well as coaching, leading, and equipping champions within the organization to engage and invite others to participate (give, serve, pray) in God’s work through IFI. This position focuses on cultivating and growing long-term, sustainable relationships with ministry supporters where they are affirmed and blessed and can experience transformational giving.

African Outreach Minister
The African Outreach Minister is to assist IFI locations to serve international students from African nations in practical ways and train and equip students and volunteers for service to African international students.
Chinese Outreach Minister
The Chinese Outreach Minister assists IFI locations to serve international students from China in practical ways and train and equip students and volunteers for service to Chinese international students.
Hispanic Outreach Minister
The Hispanic Outreach Minister assists IFI locations to serve international students from Central and South America in practical ways and train and equip students and volunteers for service to Hispanic international students,
Middle Eastern Outreach Minister
The Middle Eastern Outreach Minister assists IFI locations to serve international students from Middle Eastern communities in practical ways and train and equip students and volunteers for service to Middle Eastern international students.
Muslim Outreach Minister
The Muslim Outreach Minister assists IFI locations to serve international students from Muslim communities in practical ways and train and equip students and volunteers for service to Muslim international students.
Persian Outreach Minister
The Persian Outreach Minister assists IFI locations to serve international students from Persia in practical ways and train and equip students and volunteers for service to Persian international students.
South Asian Outreach Minister
The South Asian Outreach Minister assists the Central Ohio ministry team to serve international students from South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan) in practical ways and train and equip students and volunteers for service to international students from there.
